Wyatt's Baby Blessing

Wyatt was blessed today in the Wellsville, Utah 9th Ward.

Those who were in the circle included...Dan, Mike Mergenthaler, Alan Cardall, Anton Nelson, Ryan Walton, Chad Condie and Mike Cardall. We had a lot of family out of town, but it is hard to find a date that works for everyone.

Our ward was short in numbers was some reason so Mike Cardall ended up blessing the sacrament, and Dalan and Braydan Speth who aren't even in our ward passed the sacrament.

Dan gave Wyatt the following blessing... Our Father in heaven, by the power of the Melkesidik Priesthood, we take this baby in our arms to give him a name and a blessing. The name we have chosen will be Wyatt Daniel Cardall. At this time, Wyatt, we give you a blessing, your family loves you so much. We bless you to be aware and sensitive to the Spirit. We bless you to be strong and healthy and grow into a fine young man who will serve his Father in heaven. We bless you to seek out and search the scriptures. We bless you that you will feel the spirit of your Savior Jesus Christ and be ever worthy of his power in your life. We bless you with all other things you stand in need of. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

After sacrament we went to Al and Nancy's pool house for lunch consisting of sandwiches, fruit, salad and dessert.  It was a wonderful day!

Just Another Sunday Morning

More Childproofing!

This is the 3rd time now that I have found Tommy outside. He can undo the deadbolts, so he just ventures off whenever he wants too. I already have what I thought was every childproofing device they made, but it looks like I need to find another one!

Another one bites the dust...

Poor Tommy biffed it at Al and Nancy's and bruised and bumped up his face pretty good. He decided to take the little rolling airplane, put it at the top of the drive, and ride it down toward the pool. He did great until it turned on him at the bottom. Such a dare devil he is.

Easter

It was so fun this year for the boys to be old enough to understand the whole idea of an easter egg hunt. We had one this morning in prep for one at Al and Nancy's. The boys thought it was great to go pick up eggs and put them in their buckets.

The Kitchen Sink

Tommy has become obsessed with the kitchen sink.I catch him playing in the water multiple times a day. It wouldn't be so bad if he kept at least some of the water in the sink. Instead it is all over the counter and usually sprayed onto the floor as well. The boy loves water! We've had to child proof all the toilets and doors to bathrooms or he will play in the toilet, tub or sinks.

The Trampline

We decided that the boys needed a trampoline this summer to play on. We are hoping to get a play set as well. With all the technology and tv now a days, I really want my boys to enjoy being outside. So I figure these are some ways to encourage it. And it promotes good family time.

Luckily Al rented a tractor that he let Dan borrow to dig the whole. It's a really big hole. I think this project might take longer than we think...

The Garden

We decided this year to try our hand at gardening. There are 6 existing fruit trees, and we planted 9 more for a total of 15. There was a spot behind the backyard that had previously been used for something, so Dan plowed that up and we planted everything from corn, to beets, pees, etc. We also transplanted some blackberries from Al and did some raspberries, strawberries and grapes as well. I'm hoping that with all of that we will get something, but who knows. Worst case, if it all fails, we try again next year!

Family Dinner

We had everyone over for dinner the other night. It is so nice to have room for the whole family to get together and the kids to play. We feel so blessed to have so much family close by.

Wyatt's 2 Month Pediatrician Visit

Wyatt had his 2 month pediatrician visit today and he is growing like a healthy boy should! He weighs 13.2 pounds which is the 83rd percentile  and is 24.5 inches long which is the 93rd percentile. He had to get shots today, but he took them like a champ. He cried, but not nearly as long as his big brothers did at this age.

Wyatt is starting to smile more often and it is so precious when he does. He smiles the most when he is getting his bum changed! With that being the case, I don't mind changing his cute little bum so often...

Loving the Outdoors

We have been spending as much time outside as we can lately with the weather getting warmer. I have even managed to go running a few times. The boys drive the truck, and I push Wyatt in the stroller. It is quite the site to see, but it works! And here are some of Wyatt's first selfies!
