Softball and Twinkies

Dan has been playing in a softball league this year. My friend's husband is also on the team. She made this onesie for Eddie that matches Dan's team shirt. So cute! Eddie loves going to the games and will clap along anytime anyone is clapping. He has no preference for which team he cheers for.

He is usually afraid of the grass and will just sit on the blanket playing with toys and eating treats, but this past week he decided the grass wasn't so bad. I spent the whole game chasing him around to keep him off the field.

Here is Eddie in his Memphis Zoo shirt that the Olsen's got for him when I visited when I was pregnant. It seemed like it would be such a long time before he would be able to wear it.

Eddie's first twinkie. Bad daddy!!!

He loved every bite!

Eddie chowing down with his sunglasses that he put on himself. He loves to wear them around the house.

And here is one upset baby. Even mad he looks so cute!

Eddie Climbing at 11 Months

This weekend I had been doing laundry when I made the mistake of leaving the empty laundry basket out.I watched as Eddie figured out how to turn it upside down, then realized he could lift his leg up to the top of it. Within minutes, he had climbed on top of the basket. I couldn't even believe how he had problem solved it out. And as he went from sitting to standing on the basket, he made sure to clap at his success. I have found it hard to believe that he is walking at 11 months, and now he has started climbing as well. He takes after his dad that's for sure!

Eddie Walking at 11 Months

After taking his first steps 1 month ago, this video shows how far he has come in the last 4 weeks. He gets better balance with everyday.

My First Mother's Day

Yesterday I celebrated my very first Mother's Day.It is still so crazy to think that I am a mom. Dan surprised me with a swimsuit cover up that I had been wanting for our trip to Cancun that is right around the corner. Then at church, since we are in nursery now, the primary kids made these darling bookmark's for all of the mom's. It is Eddie's fingerprint done to look like a flower. How cute is that!
We spent the afternoon in Logan with all of Dan's family. We had a great time eating Mexican (the normal holiday food for the Cardall clan), and just enjoyed each others company. 2 of Dan's sisters had babies last week so we all took turns oogling over my darling new niece, Sophie Lila, and nephew, Blake Kent.

Since we couldn't be there to celebrate with my mom, I put together this collage of Eddie from birth to 9 months and sent it to her. It is amazing to see how much he has changed. He is not my little baby anymore, he is getting closer and closer to officially being a toddler.

It was a wonderful Mother's Day and I am so excited that there will be many more to come!

Just A Video

I know this video isn't anything exciting but I thought Eddie's Grandma and Grandpa in Montana might like to see their darling little grandson in action.

My 20 Week Appointment

I had my 20 week appointment on Thursday. I can't believe I am halfway done. I still can't believe I'm pregnant most of the time. Everything checked out normal. He is still a boy, and the blood tests and ultrasound came back just fine. He is growing right on track, and my morning sickness is about gone. Now I just get to look forward to getting all huge, hot and uncomfortable. Oh how I love being pregnant!
