7 Months Old

Eddie will be 7 months old on Monday. I can't believe another month has flown by. He is sitting up on his own very well, he rolls around, and he has started pushing up onto his hands and knees getting ready for crawling. And the best news of all...Eddie has started taking a bottle! Overall I think it has been a really good thing. It allows Dan to help out some more and makes it easier for me to leave Eddie knowing that he can be fed if needed. He even went through the entire night last night without waking up to eat. He still woke up fussing a couple of times, but soothed himself back to sleep. Speaking of sleep, we also finally broke him of his need to be swaddled like a mummy. Now we can just place him in his crib, pull the blankets over him and he goes to sleep. It is so wonderful. There were times I didn't think we would make it that far. Our next milestone will be him sleeping though the night, which I think we are close.
